Quarantine has taken many things from this year’s senior class, however Millard South staff and administrators are doing their best to recognize all of the hard work that the class of 2020 has displayed. 

Millard School Board Member Mike Kennedy came up with an exciting way to honor the seniors during this global pandemic. On April 21, staff members distributed graduation yard signs to seniors outside of the south doors of the building. Students and their families were greeted by smiling faces as they drove through and picked up their yard signs.

“They are a great way to cast light on an otherwise solemn situation,” senior Josh Ferdico said. “A great way to promote and inspire the class of 2020 with something special for people to recognize them with,” he said.

Everyone made sure to keep their distance as students pulled up and staff members put the signs in their back seats! 

“It was super exciting to see my favorite principals!” added senior Lindzey James.
