I am a non-voter due to being two years and three months too young. After hearing that Biden had dropped out of the election due to old age and health and learning that Kamala Harris had stepped up to take over for Biden, I was scared. I didn’t know what was going to happen when a female would be running the office, and it seemed like Democrats just wanted a woman to run the office.
I had hoping that borders would be closed back up for a safer country, lower gas prices, a stronger army, and more attention to not entering world wars and ultimately peace with all countries.
I was cheering for Trump to win the 2024 election against Kamala Harris. Despite my inability to vote, this isn’t my first time supporting Trump. I attended a Trump rally at Eppley Airfield in 2020 and another in 2022 in Nebraska. I was young, but I still have always had a remarkable feeling about Donald Trump, and I think he can make America great. Trump did amazing things in the first term he was in office. He did an great job cutting taxes and getting closer ties with Israel.
Many things happened during the time Trump was in office like the riots. Many people wanted to blame Trump.
The main theme brought to my attention is people say their rights are going to be taken away with Trump in office and a main worry from women with Trump is thinking Trump is going to take away abortion. Trump recently put out a message on Twitter/X saying “Everyone knows I would not support a federal abortion ban, under any circumstances, and in fact, veto it, because it is up to the states, to decide based on the will of their voters (The will of the people.) Like Ronald Reagan before me, I fully support the exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. I do not support the Democrats’ radical position of late term abortion like, as an example, in the 7th, 8th, or 9th month, or, in case there is any question, the possibility of the execution of the baby after birth. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
This clearly states that Trump isn’t going to take abortion rights away, and he just doesn’t support the situation and that people are putting stuff into his mouth.
I’m thrilled that Trump won the 2024 election and delighted to see where the next four years take us.
