Artist Statement: I did this on Blender. I had a lot of trouble with figuring out textures since I needed to download things, but I didn't have the resources to do so. I also had technical difficulties with adding the $ because I have never used the texture painting feature before. I guess I didn't really need it since skittles are already pretty smooth. When trying to figure it out, I accidentally saved over the file with a cube I was practicing on and had to start all over. Yay. But I got it done and it looks like skittles. I didn't want to get a copyright strike or something like that so I put the line through it to make it look like a dollar sign. I also did this to tie into the theme of taxes.
