Students Staying Home

Hailee Wakefield and

Millard South students learned today that they would be attending half the time when school starts Aug. 17.
The email states, “Due to the high concern of student volume at the high school level, along with the high number of Corona2virus cases, Millard Public Schools is dividing high school students into two groups that will alternate days of attending school “in person” or attending from home through remote learning,” it goes on to say, “it is imperative that we do this in order to be proactive in containing the spread of COVID-19. This plan gives students the chance to meet our goal of 100% attendance.”
Although in a state of uncertainty, Millard Public Schools is working around the clock to ensure that the students are safe and able to continue their education, whether in school or at home.
