Drake recently dropped his newest album “For All the Dogs” which contains features from 21 Savage, SZA, Sexyy Red, and J.Cole, just to name a few. The biggest feature is Drake’s son Adonis at the end of Daylight. Drake has been on a journey to reinventing the sound of rap. His creations have many differences from any other rapper in the industry. Drake has displayed many talents including simply singing in his songs, as well as being bilingual and diverse in who he works with to create songs for every audience.

It’s very easy to find Drake haters but Drake has done a great job of allowing people to find a certain song or album for their liking. He explores different ways to generate his music without losing his sound completely. One of his newest songs was a collaboration with Bad Bunny. Bad Bunny has earned his fame by stealing the hearts of Latinas all over the world. In Gently, Drake displays his ability to sing in Spanish which many artists aren’t seen doing often. This song has a really catchy beat and gives a diverse song to the rest of the album. Many feel that Rich Baby Daddy is a sort of comic relief to the album. This song features Sexyy Red and SZA and creates a very interesting song which many people have tuned in on only listening to SZA’s part.

Drake was able to create multiple smooth transitions from one song to another on the album. My personal favorite transition is from 7969 Santa. He added a funny outro with Snoop Dogg talking as if he was on a radio station, he referred to BARK radio. The transition comes in with him introducing that SZA and Drake would be coming up next. Which was true to the set list on the album. After 7969 Santa, Slime You Out was to follow. This song was released earlier than the album itself and gained a lot of attention, especially amidst the Drake and Sza dating rumors. This song was a lot slower than most of the album but everyone was overly excited about the two collaborating.

In conclusion, Drake continues to bring people together through his music. Every single time he drops an album, you either love it right away or you slowly start to enjoy and love all the songs on the album. This album did both for each and every person who listened to it. I loved what he came up with in his newest album, although I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s the best one but I did enjoy all the collaborations and what he came up with for his latest drop. I definitely think it’s worth a few listens to find what songs best resonate with you.
