Students gather in Buell Stadium because the power was out in the building. Since the generator did not power up, there was also no power at Buell to use the PA system or the newly renovated restrooms.
What started out as a fire drill during the end of 2nd block lunch Sept. 21 turned into an hour and a half ordeal where if something could go wrong, it did. A fire alarm, power outage, generators failing, a storm rolling in and a sprinkler dousing equipment in the shop, this day had it all. Yearbook photographers Jamison Hanway and Shelby Neeley who were in class at the time, covered it all from beginning to end and after.
