Ella Erickson, Artist/Cartoonist
Ella is a senior who likes art, especially drawing and painting. She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing video games with friends. Ella is in her second year on the newspaper staff.
Zachary Schilmoeller, Artist
Zach is a junior and this is his first year participating in the newspaper staff. He is involved in other extracurricular activities such as marching band and art club. Outside of these and school, he enjoys bicycling, hiking, drawing and hanging out with friends and family.
Anna Samuels, Staff Reporter
Anna is a sophomore, in her second year on Newspaper. She loves to write creatively and creates her own stories. She even has her own pen name for her books and art. She loves drawing anime and is learning how to do more in that area. Plus she’s won a first place award for her artwork at state journalism in 2024.
August Yancey, Artist/Reporter
August is a junior and this is his second year on staff as both a cartoonist and a journalist. Outside of school, he likes to draw, read, and play video games. He is also in chamber orchestra and has been playing violin for six years.
Ava Dyas, Artist
Ava is a senior and this is her first year on the newspaper staff. She is involved in show choir crew, Educators Rising and art club. Outside of school she enjoys painting and drawing.
