Are you looking for a new Christmas or holiday movie to watch?  You have to check out Dear Santa featuring the comedian Jack Black. This movie offers a fresh and funny take on the classic Christmas wish story, making it perfect for the holiday season.

But I wasn’t in for what I thought was a normal movie. This movie is enjoyable for teens and adults. Because some of the scenes can be a bit inappropriate for younger audiences, I would say that younger people should watch this movie with their parents.

This movie was about an 11-year-old boy named Liam who is dyslexic.  He is writing a letter to Santa to make a Christmas wish list and he mistakenly writes to Satan instead of Santa.

What I liked about this movie is all the different kinds of backgrounds in the movies and the sense that they are in Post Malone concert with Liam dancing in the scene. I enjoyed all the kinds of songs in the movie with all the different themes.

Jack Black shines in his role as Satan, bringing his humor and energy to the character. Jack Black tries to be the fun Satan by pretending to be Santa and making Liam think that he is the real Santa. The devilish twist comes when Satan decides to grant Liam three wishes but with a sinister motive to take his soul. What follows is a series of funny and touching events as Liam navigates his wishes, unaware of the true nature of his Santa.

Liam’s first wish is for his crush Emma to give him a chance and when Satan granted that wish he also gave him tickets for a Post Malone concert in the front row to take her.

Liam’s second wish is for his best friend Gibby’s teeth to get fixed so they can take girls to the Christmas carnival on a double date.

After his second wish, they got into an argument and he told Gibby that he made the wish to fix his teeth.

Liam’s third and final wish is for his family to be back to normal and for his dead little brother to come back to life, because he is tired of his family fighting. When he wakes up on Christmas day he goes and sees if Santa came. And when he got down the stairs he saw his parents in the kitchen drinking his coffee.

So grab your popcorn, hot cocoa, and your blanket. And cuddle up with your family and go watch this amazing movie. What makes this movie amazing is all the diverse people throughout the movie and the storyline is interesting with all the different scenes and different personalities of Satan.
